You gently smile as you look at the sun in the center of this ringworld, a glass of fine wine just having been poured at the table you've been sitting at. You look up through the glass ceilings of the restaurant you are dining at, and thousands of miles away above your head you see the mountains that holds the legendary Warlord of Karabad's fortress. You turn your gaze back to the restaurant, and looking before you, you see red cloaked shadows trading happy stories with a tabaxi over glasses of wine. At another table, a elven couple sit relaxed, armed with large ornamental greatswords, dressed in the finest silks no doubt. You smile to yourself as you drink your wine, the restaurant growing dark for a moment as a Skylar Elf skyship descends to bring more customers to the fine restaurant. Two skylar elves arrive in the room, "Ah, the Red Drake Wine & Restaurant, now this," says one of the elves as he turns to his companion, "is fine dining." You look at the elf, smirking slightly, he has a tricorne upon his head, and a rapier on his belt. The elf's gaze goes over the room before his eyes land on you and he smiles, "My friend! You're here, so good to see you again!"
The Courts of the Warchestern city of Evolynirus. A sector of this expansive megalopolis, here the rich and powerful houses of Warchester compete and invest in private wars on each other. This rich metropolis is an amazing feat of science and engineering, with the two forces seemingly coexisting in a beautiful paradox. The factions vie for power within this human capital, with elves, hobgoblins, tabaxi, and even far more unique creatures can claim heritage to nobility. You are a potential heir, belonging to a powerful family (or not!), who wishes to gain the most influence before the next king dies.
This is my homebrewed campaign based on my world of Warchester, if you are interested, either submit a character concept along with a race and class, or you can fully make a character sheet. You can choose races and classes available from Volo's Guide, Player's Handbook, UA material, Homebrew, and my Recent homebrew project: JONK VII: Phraxes. I am looking for an ideal party of four, the starting level of the characters shall be level 3. In order to be officially entered in this campaign, I will approve your concepts/characters. Additionally, I allow UA content, however, I am not going to work with the UA Mystic class. My apologies in advance. If you have questions, I will answer them accordingly. Expect some combat and roleplaying.

Brian_Avery, yes, you can. As a third level wizard, you gain the use of a subclass, such as the School of Evocation [As featured on DnD Beyond], or one of the few wizard subclasses I have cooked up, such as the School of Gunnhildyr, School of the Arcmagi, or the School of Shadomancy, all which I have homebrewed up.
Where can I find the School of Shadomancy information? And are you using a link to roll20 to roll up characters, or discord for PbP? How do I proceed?

Im the brother ^^, I have a question, I have really been wanting to play a kenku, but I find there lack of language and free thought very difficult to roleplay. do you think I could be a Kenku, but be able to speak and think for myself?
Here's my "concept". I was actually working on a book, but then I realized that was waaaay more difficult than I thought, so it went away.
“Crap crap crap crap! Late! I’m always late! Dad is going to kill me.” He hurriedly muttered under his breath. “Eli, let’s go!” Coat, check. Key to the shop, check. Key to the house, check. “Elias!” Where is he? He thought as he scrambled out of his room. Oh well, Ander thought. I’m already an hour late if the light outside is any indication, I’m not about to add to that time waiting around for him.
He rushed through his small dark home surrounded by silence because of the absence of Ma, Dad, and Eli. He could hear it now. “Everyone is hard at work to make their dues and you sleep in, boy?” This should be fun. But they don’t know my plans! I was up all night studying the Sahuagins. Next time they attack, I’m ready! Those horrid fish people don’t stand a chance.
Finally out of the door, the sun brought an ache to Ander’s eyes. He could tell it was almost midday. The bustle in the town square was much too busy for any other time. Rushing through the crowd of people, he didn’t notice that the sun wasn’t quite that high, or that everyone seemed a bit panicked. “Excuse me! Pardon me!” Suddenly a gap formed in the crowd and a flash of curly light brown hair that could only belong to Eli rushed through. “Eli!” He screamed, hoping to catch up to him to split the berating that was sure to come from Dad, although, he would probably still receive the brunt of it. Dad always did favor Eli more.
“Ander! Where have you been? It’s happening again!” He shouted as he rushed toward me. “The Sahuagins are attacking!”
That was quick. Fear flooded his whole body, along with a slight tinge of excitement. He knew what to do. Sooner than I had hoped.
“Where are they, Eli?” He asked, the rush of adrenaline flowing through his veins. I’ll finally show them that I’m not useless!
“On Market Street! They’re attacking near the shop!” Eli shouted above the din of the crowd. They retrieved their bows as they rushed through the packed dirt roads to Market Street. This is it. This is the day. As they rounded the corner, there they were. A small group, not too threatening for a whole village. Why was everyone so panicked? The three Sahuagins stood about six feet tall, their dark green skin occasionally interrupted by spots or stripes glistened in the light, showing off the sliminess of their fish kind. Crouching low next to Eli, Ander looked for the weak point: the webbing that covered the hole where their ears would be if they had them. “Eli, there, aim true. Be careful.” He whispered as they prepared to assist in the defense.
As Eli darted between houses to get within range of his shortbow, Ander raised his crossbow in preparation. Holding his breath, he aimed down the sights. Suddenly, the nearest Sahuagin stood up tall, as if listening closely to something. Not one to miss his opportunity, he lined up the sights and pulled the trigger. He watched as the bolt found its mark and went through the webbing over the weak point like it was parchment, going straight into the brain of the beast and out of the other side with a spray of blood.
As it fell to the ground shrieking, Ander ducked behind the wall hoping to avoid detection by the other two. However, they seemed to be looking at something else. No. Please no. Horror overcame him and he began to tremble as he saw what none of his people had ever seen, only heard legend of. A Sahuagin Baron: the horrid mutation of a Sahuagin, complete with four arms and easily double the strength. As he watched it calmly stride forward, Ander noticed it’s target. “Eli.” He whispered with dread. Frozen to the spot, he could do nothing as he watched the beast rear back and thrust it’s trident forward, spearing Eli through the chest. “No!” he screamed, reaching toward Eli, when suddenly a powerful heat formed within his hand and burst out of it. The fire bolt flew toward the Baron and struck it in the middle of the back. He was too astonished to hide. Was that me?

Backstory
Butorega was the son of Elisa Treehugger and Bob Treehugger. They were both Half-elves and were know to be skilled diplomats. During at time of strife they allied themselves with the Lowlander Noble house hold and worked in there favor to try to secure both alliances and peace between noble clans. Clan Thomas, another noble house in the city and sworn enemies of house Lowlander, saw where this was going and had the two of them assassinated while they were out on a mission. This event lead to many other, but this affected Butorega in only one way, it removed his parents from his life.
With no parents, or relatives to turn to Butorega was forced out onto the streets. His looks and charming aura as a half-elf made it easier for him to beg, but what he did git was often stolen by more enterprising urchins. His luck turned around however when he would meet his long time friend Gosh. Gosh, due to being a half-orc could not beg for anything, but he could fight. Butorega being a half-elf could beg, but lacked the combat prowess to keep his earnings. The two formed a effective duo that allowed both of them to survive on the streets.
Eventually things became to heated for the two of them to survive on there own. Butorega got old enough where people began to take pity on him less and the fighting started to get intense when the older gangs started to move in. Eventually Butorega and Gosh were going to need more protection. They then joined up with the Wildlings, a low level street gang in there area. The young members of the gang looked out for each other and aided one another.
The Wildling gang had one rule, no adults. Adults brought heat down upon the gang and always seemed to make serious enemies. When a Wildling turned sixteen they were considered a Big Brother, but forced out of the Wildling holdings. When this happen for both Gosh and Butorega they were taken in by a man named Magnis, a Big Brother. Magnis was well known to the Wildlings and often took in new Big Brothers. He ran a small mercenary company and used the Wildlings as a permanent recruitment station.
Under magnis and his company Butorega became a fine fighter, however he was not satisfied. Butorega did not like to take orders and even if the orders came from a Big Brother. Eventually Butorega left the company after paying back the price for his equipment and training. At the age of 18 he returned to the streets alone. Gosh, his best friend, had a close call in one of the battles they fought under Magnis banner. It was this near death experience that changed Gosh into a Paladin serving under Tempus. Gosh made it his personal mission to serve the temple of Tempus and as a result his life took him on a different path than his Half-Elf brother.
