Likewise, the subclass does not give the character any such proficiency (simply because it doesn't say so). Consequently: unless you get that proficiency from another source, then a Sinner using a pistol jinx weapon would not add their proficiency bonus to the attack roll.

but you have proficient with the gaming set ? shouldnt that be enough for that attack to add prof bonus when using it as a gaming set ?
Yes, the gaming set should indeed add your proficiency bonus (and currently doesn't). I'm only referring to the pistol here.
I belive he meant the gaming set version, which is the only one listed in the character builder. The overall issue here is that in the character builder, The Jinx wepaon is listed as Jinx Weapon (gaming set); which is fine to default to that as a standard but it is not adding the prof bonus to attacks rolls when it should, because it is both a simple wepaon and a gaming set which the sinner rogue has prof in both.
tremorsense is showing under senses, making it appear as always-on despite requiring activation (perhaps this is functioning as intended but know players who will insist that means it's always active, so if not intended would be nice to see fixed)
deep roots advantage is showing next to Dexterity (Acrobatics) and Strength (Athletics) in the skills list but not under saving throws where it probably belongs as well
The Circle of the Old Ways Druid also has a few quirks:
Wood Wose would probably benefit from an "activate" option under Features and Traits like Rage and similar abilities
even better if a single "activate" option can include level restricted parts to it for when the ability gets added to by higher-level subclass features
"Wood Wose" and "Wood Wose: Shillelagh" both appear under Actions > Bonus Actions despite being the nearly identical and likely an unnecessary duplication. The ability can be activated as a BA or as part of the BA used to cast Shillelagh but appears twice, once for each option despite being the same ability. They also seem to have slightly different snippets. Combining these into one action that describes both BA options would remove duplication and clean up that tab as well as minimize confusion from two different snippets describing the same feature in two different ways
Warrior of the Pestilent Haze Monk:
Claws of Pestilence (part of the Contagious Discipline feature) is not adding Proficiency Bonus to attack rolls for either the Unarmed Strike or the Flurry of Blows attacks of this subclass feature
Malediction > Hate: disadvantage is showing under your own saving throws despite being an effect applied to a target other than yourself
Witch Mark: goofy snippet
Snippet: You can imbue magic into a nonmagical Tiny object you’re holding. Choose one of your prepared Warlock spells that has a casting time of an action. A creature holding the marked object can take a Magic action to cast the spell (using your +4 modifier, spell attack bonus, or spell save DC). When the spell is cast from it or when you finish a Long Rest.
Feature: When you finish a Long Rest, you can imbue magic into a nonmagical Tiny object you’re holding. Choose one of your prepared Warlock spells that has a casting time of an action. A creature holding the marked object can take a Magic action to cast the spell (using your Charisma modifier, spell attack bonus, or spell save DC). The mark fades when the spell is cast from it or when you finish a Long Rest.
Bogborn Species:
The snippet for Guiding Bond in the Actions tab is missing words or should be rephrased. Right now it says: You can use this Bonus Action equal to 2 and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
The feature says: You can use this Bonus Action a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Regeneration ability snippet is showing the wrong modifier to add to hit dice. The snippet: As a Bonus Action, you can expend one of your Hit Point Dice, roll the die, and regain a number of Hit Points equal to the number rolled plus -1 (minimum of 1 Hit Point). If you take Acid or Fire damage, this trait doesn't function until the end of your next turn.
The feature: As a Bonus Action, you can expend one of your Hit Point Dice, roll the die, and regain a number of Hit Points equal to the number rolled plus your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1 Hit Point). If you take Acid or Fire damage, this trait doesn't function until the end of your next turn.
The character this is on has a +2 con mod (15 con), so it's not just the min 1 that's funky
Many abilities, such as the Ashborn’s sting and the Sinner Rogues Hex Weapon are not applying proficiency bonus on their “to hit” on a character sheet.
Player noticed an issue when creating a character with the “Altered” Feat using the 2014 rules in the D&DB character creator. Both Natural Armor (Dexterity) and Natural Armor (Constitution) should grant an AC of 15 & 16 respectively, but the change does not translate to the top of the character sheet (the main Armor Class spot is remaining as 12)
Using the Altered seems to calculate unarmed strikes with double the normal modifier. I didn't see it in the thread. Is this a known issue?
When I use altered and choose natural weapons, it doubles the mod on ANY unarmed strike variant, not even just the strike granted by the feat (which would still be pretty insane).
The Circle of The Wicker Druid is showing an option for selecting which effigy you use, during character generation process. Why is this there when it says you choose when you use the feature. Its a bit misleading and can cause confusion.
Mornin'! I went to use some of the new CM Monsters in D&D beyond Maps and all the token images are blurry. In fact, all monster token images in maps VTT are blurry, doesn't matter the source. anyone else having this issue? I want to see my spooky boys!
List of bugs for Horned King Warlock (of Crooked Moon Part 1) - 'Hate' option from Malediction feature shows up in my own saving throw window as something I am supposed to roll disadvantage because of. - Malediction does not show up in the Actions pane at all (it is usable as both a Magic Action and as a Reaction), and does not have any tracker counters on it (should be Charisma modifier times per long rest). - Spells from Horned King Spells that are not in the current level of available Pact Slots do not show in the spell list (character level is 3, has 2nd level Pact slots, neither Animal Friendship or Bane show up in the spell list) - Witch Mark feature also does not have a tracker counter
Bugs for Bogborn species (of Crooked Moon Part 1) - Regeneration feature is correct in Features tab, but in Actions>Bonus Action tab it has the wrong modifier for the roll (supposed to be Hit Die + CON, CON mod is +2, shows "... and regain a number of Hit Points equal to the number rolled plus -1" - Guiding Bond feature doesn't appear in Limited Use tab, or have any kind of tracker counter
In the "familiars" section of The Crooked Moon, one of the creatures listed there is "Nameless Thing", (this is the url from the books contents list: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/tcmp1/bestiary#NamelessThing). If you click the hyperlink on the title of the creature to go to the statblock page, it takes you instead to a statblock page for a creator of the same name from the Lord of the Rings Roleplaying book. I copied this link that was attached to the creature title in The Crooked Moon https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/5009085-nameless-thing .
The Great Fool Patron has the Great Old One Patron's prepared spells on their spell list when they shouldn't!
I'm not able to reproduce this. Can you give some more information here?
If you were to look up any of the spells on great old one warlocks, auto known spells, like detect thoughts for example, they are all listed under the great fool patron as well, even though they have a completely different set of spells.

No, a pistol is a martial ranged weapon per the PHB. Rogues have proficiency with martial weapons that have the Finesse or Light property, but pistols have only Ammunition and Loading. As such, Rogues do not have proficiency with pistols.

Sorry, I meant the gaming set version. That’s my bad.

Yeah, the gaming set is a known issue. The pistol is the one that should be discussed with Avantris.

the 2014 oath of castigation oath spells are not showing up when you make a chareter
castigation paladin constantly adds the charisma mod to investigation and insight, in addition to having the advantage symbol constantly
2014, 2024, or both?

This was moved out of the builder and into the character sheet itself. You can select it to activate the shield, and unselect it to deactivate.
