Happy New Year Everyone! My first video of the new year has a very dark and “Diablo” like feel to it. The cage moves up, down, and opens. Perfect to place any NPC or PC in for a game objective… you can even use it as an elaborate dice jail.
So, I dove into the world of Hirst Arts molds and Hydrostone! Although this can seem a bit intimidating at first, I must admit it’s a piece of cake to achieve some excellent results. I was really surprised with the amount of detail even on the tiniest of pieces.
I wanted a way to display my most favorite miniatures on my shelves. I’m starting off with this 5”x5” alchemy diorama. I was able to use a bunch of different techniques in this small build. Sculpting with Green Stuff, UV Resin, LED’s, Casting, and more. The cool thing is its all used in small amounts making this a great beginner project for those just getting into crafting.
I landed this cool smoke machine with LEDs for my tabletop crafts. I incorporated it into my mini diorama from last week. I’ll be adding this to some of my builds throughout the year. Click the link above to find out how to add this to your builds.
The next EPIC build on my YouTube channel is this Ice Cave book nook filled with some crazy effects. A smoke machine for the frosty look, a walnut enclosure with LED’s, a massive Yeti mini, and multiple snow and ice effects. The video is packed with cool tips and tricks for anyone that wants to create any snow/ice terrain. Based on the Icewind Dale Rime of the Frostmaiden Dungeons and Dragons book!
I made this building out of foam and decorated it with some cast pieces from a few Hirst Arts molds. Awesome smoke and light effects were added as well, and to see how check out the video on my channel. Link above.
I wanted to start filling out my dungeon with a torture chamber room. Here is the second piece I’ve created in this series. I like how the blade swings, the table moves up and down, and spins. There are also other small modular pieces to this build that can be used in other scenarios like the lever that I made months ago.
The search for the perfect interior walls for all your tabletop buildings is over. This video shows you how to make walls not only for the interior of all your buildings, but for other environments like dungeons as well. When it comes to storage these take up hardly any room at all!
I got his vision in my head of a diorama showing off the true arcane powers of a Pyromancer. I had some miniatures custom made for this video by TigerSkullRPG and he absolutely crushed it. I was able to fill all 4 corners of this diorama with dynamic “mini scenes”. A cool feature of this diorama is that it comes apart, and the tower can be used as a modular piece of terrain for tabletop gaming!
If you’re interested in running multiple lights in your crafts or dioramas and want to be able to manipulate the light output check out this week’s video! I retrofit my haunted house so all the lights turn on and off with one switch!
I made this cool interactive tile trap with the use of a Conwy board (like Arduino) and some new and exciting crafting materials. If your player moves over the wrong tile, they will set off a light behind the projectile indicating they set off the trap! This is also a collaboration video with none other than the legend DM Scotty! We had a great time filming with some funny bloopers at the end!
I wanted to make my first Warhammer 40k / Necromunda build when I reached 40k subscribers on the channel. This was a fun build and really had me thinking outside the box of my normal D&D style terrain. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this new style of crafting.
Nothing builds tension on the table than when a siege or better yet a dragon can destroy your buildings around the table. I made this modular building that can transform from a sound building to a razed pile of rubble in seconds! Check it out on my YouTube channel.
You can never have enough tiles for tabletop gaming… so why not Ocean Tiles. I’m gearing up for an underwater adventure for my players, and these are going to act as the ocean floor! You can also use these to simulate the surface as well for epic sea battles with a bunch of ships. I even made some narrow “fresh water” tiles to act as underground flooded tunnels for my cave tile set!
These hazard tiles add a cool burst of color and 3-dimensional pop to any set of dungeon tiles. You can toss these in anywhere along your dungeon crawl to knock down those player’s HP hahaha…
My latest addition to my medieval village. I made this modular stable that can also double as a guild hall, library, chapel, inn and more. It has a playable interior and tons of cool details.
