Do you all think this is a good tactic for a 2nd level character?
Or the target just takes one step to the left or right of the fire as the feat only moves to/from the character...unless the PC really wants to spend the time dancing around trying line itself, the target, and the fire into a straight line.

It is more trouble than it is worth. A moon druid can do more damage with claws and teeth than with bonfire.
