It has been quite a while since I ran this, but I believe I just ran them in numerical order based on tier and it worked out well... Good luck!
Tier 1
DDEX3-1 Harried in Hillsfar DDEX3-2 Shackles of Blood DDEX3-5 Bane of the Tradeways DDEX3-6 No Foolish Matter DDEX3-10 Quelling the Horde DDEX3-12 Hillsfar Reclaimed DDEX3-14 Death on the Wall
Tier 2
DDEX3-3 The Occupation of Szith Morcane DDEX3-7 Herald of the Moon DDEX3-8 The Malady of Elventree DDEX3-9 The Waydown DDEX3-11 The Quest for Sporedome DDEX3-13 Writhing in the Dark DDEX3-15 Szith Morcane Unbound
Tier 3
DDEX3-4 It's All in the Blood DDEX3-16 Assault on Maerimydra
Yes, you should run them in numerical order within a tier. There are a few CCC adventures (HILL1-1 through HILL1-3) that follow the tier 1 storyline, as does DDAL00-02 Lost Tales of Myth Drannor.
So where are you supposed to begin chapter one of out of the abyss? It's my understanding that the pc's start off trying to escape from the drow. But they start on the surface in these?

AL modules typically don't interact directly with the hardcover. Most of them are a parallel plot development based on some of the key plot elements in the hard cover and the events typically don't overlap (I could be wrong on some but the I think the idea is that the AL plot progression remains separate from the hardcover).
So if you are running the Out of the Abyss hardcover the characters start as prisoners.
However, if you are running the hardcover and want to include modules then you can fit them in wherever it makes sense to do so (or with AL even if it doesn't since AL doesn't impose any constraints on continuity). You can also run the modules as a storyline and include individual chapters (these have to be complete chapters not just encounters) from Out of the Abyss.

Hi! I'm looking to run the Rage of Demons AL modules in order, but can't seem to figure it out mysel. Has anyone ran them in their proper order?
