So I earn a DM reward point, and I choose to advance one of my characters a level. How do I record that on the adventure log of my character I am advancing? Ideally, I want to PLAY said character in an AL game, how is the DM going to know that I earned that level as a DM reward?
You would just log it on your sheet and if you want to be complete then reference the date and module you ran to earn the DM reward. All of AL is based on trust. You write down what happened on your log sheet so you remember why your character is level Z and if anyone asks you can say "I played X levels and DM rewarded Y levels on such and such a date for modules I ran on this date". Logging doesn't prevent cheating but it gives you a record in case anyone asks.
To be honest, most things that might get checked would be magic items/gold/stats making sure that there weren't any "mistakes". If everything is logged then it shouldn't be an issue.
