My moon druid wildshaped into a giant spider. A giant spider has no language listed in its stat block.
Psychic Whispers has the following line: To send or receive a message (no action required), you and the other creature must be within 1 mile of each other. A creature can’t use this telepathy if it can’t speak any languages, and a creature can end the telepathic connection at any time (no action required). You and the creature don’t need to speak a common language to understand each other.
So what happens in this situation? Can the soulknife establish a connection, but the druid cannot respond? Does the telepathy not work at all? Can communication freely flow between the soulknife and the wildshaped druid because the druid retains their intelligence?
In a game I was running, I would rule that a wild shaped druid could communicate like this. Since the wild shape ability states you keep your mental stats, I would argue that your mind retains the language abilities, even though you can't physically speak.

That's seems to be the RAI, in my opinion, but I wanted to get a wider viewpoint from the community, since it's not technically RAW.
Thank you for your feedback!
