I have been looking at the wording on ‘Conjure Woodland Beings’ (2024), and am trying to understand the following:
The spell states, “Whenever the Emanation enters the space of a creatureyou can see and whenever a creature you can see enters the Emanation or ends its turn there, you can force that creature to make a Wisdom saving throw.”
Does this mean if a Druid casts this, it has to move the emanation towards the target for the effect only? What if a creature moves into the emanation’s space? Does it trigger the effect?
So, just to be clear, an Emanation is always centered on a creature or object, and moves with that thing when that thing moves. This spell explicitly says it has to be centered on you, the caster. So this is not an effect that you can move around independently (like, say, Moonbeam), but you can move it into other people's spaces by moving yourself toward them.
With that in mind, the spell will affect a creature if any of the following happen:
you move, causing the creature to now be in the Emanation
the creature moves, causing it to now be in the Emanation
the creature ends its turn while within the Emanation
However, it can only affect a given creature once per turn, even if more than one of those three things happen on the same turn. (This isn't in the part you quoted, but it is part of the spell description.)

Hi all,

Would value your thoughts. 👍
