Of course there's no single definition of "best". However, "best" is often defined in terms of damage, and most people rate the Moon druid as generating the most DPR.
The best caster druid is likely the Land druid, who can switch their subclass spell list after every long rest.
But if you define best in terms of, e.g., the best necrotic druid, that would be the Spores druid, etc.
Best can also be defined in relative terms, e.g., in terms of the needs of a party (what the party is missing, etc.), or the challenges of a particular campaign (e.g., an underwater campaign, a Feywild campaign, and so on.) Then there's the best for someone like you. And that obviously varies.

Spores Druid is actually one of the most versatile subclasses because you get access to a lot of spells that are not on the convetional Druid spell list as well as an additional way to generate temporary HP for yourself.
I'm in a campaign where somebody is playing a spore druid, and it's really cool. As said before, the definition of "best" varies, but one of my favorite builds is a drow (dark elf) circle of moon. That's my favorite, but it's not necessarily the best.

What is the best druid build?

Best is whatever is best for your play style. what are you looking for in a druid?
Personally, I love the Stars druid since it is super versatile (blaster, healer, controller). Plus, free guiding bolts and guidance.
