I'm about to start an Eve of Ruin campaign and trying to pick my 8 wild shapes for my level 10 druid. Looking for some advice on how to use what I currently have, which ones to swap out, or any superior choices (like Hunter Shark's Advantage on attacks vs Killer Whale's better hit and damage dice) and why. Here is my current line up:
Are you limited to just MM or is older material available?
Owl is an amazing battle field mobility form
Giant Bat provide both speed, can act as a mount and has Blindsight for enemy detection.
Spider is a great stealth option combining spider climb with a form present in most locations.
At 10 Giant Scorpion does the highest DPR unless you have the Grappler feat combine Moonlight step and sting for best damage.
A burrowing form is useful
Having a huge form can break you out of grapples.
Giant Octopus is actually good since it offers grapple with Restrain which can be useful to the party, also has 10 foot reach so can hold opponent out of their reach. gain use Moonlight step for advantage.
Pterosaur also has flyby but with a 10 Con so slightly better for CWB.

Main Combat Options:
Polar Bear again

Saber Tooth Tiger
Suggesting trading your "stealth option" is to the badger, to be able to burrow under things that you can't go over.
