one of my players are playing Druid for his first time, his character is a water genasi sailor who crashed a ship (with his brother, a fire genasi) and ended up in a costal town called badowharf. What would a good Druid circle be for him. My friends play style is hide and cast spells, so anything that would be good with that play style.
I would say circle of land swamp or stars druid. I think both are very thematic and have some good features. Both have spells that let you cast then hide, while being at a good distance from enemies.

If you are going to choose a circle of the land, I'd probably consider coast as well. It gets some great spells.
Oh okay, thank u
Fun tactic for a water genasi/ coast druid. Cast Fog Cloud and then wildshape into a Giant Crab which has blindsight 10'.
