I'm starting a new campaign and decided to play a tortle stars druid. We'll be starting at lvl 3 and I'm in a party with a eloquence bard and long death monk. We are using point buy. I picked tortle so I can drop dex and get 14 INT and be the party scholar. In combat I will be the party blaster and heaIer when needed. I expect that we won't reach the third ASI at lvl12 so I'm mostly focused on my progression till about lvl10.
Now I'm still on the fence if I should start with 17 WIS and 16 CON or the other way around. At lvl 4 I would like to boost my WIS to 18, either by 2 ASI or a +1WIS half feat. I have a couple of options and I have trouble to pick one. I hope anyone can give me advice on this or maybe you have an alternative that works well.
Start with 17 WIS > lvl4 take observant +1WIS > lvl8 ASI +2 WIS
Start with 17 CON > lvl 4 ASI +2 WIS > lvl8 Resilient CON
Other feats ideas I'm toying with are spell sniper or metamagic adept to give my guiding bolts some extra oomph or skill expert to double down on my roll as party scholar, taking expertise in investigation or perception.
I have a star druid but it is an autognome (has natural armor too). I have my WIS higher than my CON. Feats I like for a druid: Metamagic Adept: you can take the Twinned Spell metamagic and use it with Chalice Starry form and guiding bolt spell to increase the number of targets. I like Gift of the gem dragon, which has a telekinetic reaction (attack) and gives you +1 wisdom. My next choice for wisdom boosting is probably fey touched.
I started with the Tough feat but it's one of the two spelljammer backgrounds (Wildspacer) and each one comes with a feat. The other one (astral drifter) comes with magic initiate (cleric version).

Why not Fey Touched?
+1 WIS, Misty Step, and another spell on the list
I will say that Warcaster is basically necessary for Stars Druid if you want to use a shield or a held magic item (such as the Moon Sickle)
