Hullo! This is yet another noob of D&D who has recently become very interested in playing a Circle of Dreams Druid.
Problem: I know next to nothing about the Fey Wild.
Funds are limited, preventing me from just buying the entirety of 5e's books. Instead I must purchase with precision. So I'd like to ask: What book (or books) would one recommend to get a good grasp on the concept of the Fey Wild and what it offers? Note: A big part of this is for RP reasons and wrapping my brain around my druid's connection to the Fey Wild, WHY they would have this connection, how it might affect their personality, etc. Lore is my jam, while mechanics, (though still helpful and inspiring,) is less so.
Unfortunately, there has not been a book on the different planes in 5e yet (this is my top want for a new sourcebook). The DMG and MToF have small sections that talk about the feywild (MToF is more about the eladrin that live there).
I would recommend doing a such online for 2nd edition and 3rd edition source material if you are going for lore. Much of 5th edition lore is based on previous editions.

It's a pity there's not an all-encompassing reference yet, but this still gives me a place to start! Thanks muchly! :D

If lore is your jam, maybe look into D&D novels as well as gaming sources.

When you select a campaign setting, you can see the material released for it.
