obviously druids are nature based and work great in outdoor settings. But looking at certain spells i sometimes wonder or I end up just ignoring them as I worry they wouldn’t work indoors. I assume spike growth would be fine But not plant growth? Would moonbeam work if you don’t have enough ceiling height for the 40’ tall cylinder? Etc.
what should I look out for when choosing spells for the day? Not all spells specify if they work inside or out. I guess you could make the case for plant growth working in a cavern if there was any plant life around

Unless it specifically mentions some outdoor aspect, it works indoors.
Call Lightning specifically requires you to be able to see a point 100 feet above you, but it could work indoors if the ceiling was tall enough.
Plant Growth would have no effects if there are no plants to grow, but indoor plants can work just fine - even tiny ones.
Moonbeam has no restriction, so it works indoors (even if the ceiling is low).
