Waterdeep: Dragon Heist pronunciation

Here's a question that really doesn't matter much, but I was surprised when I couldn't find an answer with an internet search.  Would you pronounce the "i" in the poltergeist Lif's name so it sounds like lift or life?

Up to you, but I think extending the "i" sounds better.

Yeah, I think it's meant to be a pun, but I'm not completely sure.

"Leaf" is a good way too. Don't know why that didn't occur to me.

That’s a great point about leaf being a possible pronunciation.

As a funny aside, how to pronounce manshoon is in the front of the book, but not Lif.  Go figure.
