Hey guys, long time reader - first time poster here. I'm taking over as DM for my group's campaign and as a narrative hook the previous DM offered my character a tempting choice:
While drowning due to a shipwreck, the god of death appears in front of my character to usher him across the veil. My character could die (so that I wouldn't have to play my character while DMing) or sign an infernal contract offering my soul as tribute...
Taking a level as a death domain cleric opens up some really interesting plot hooks for my character to reveal to my party during the sea-themed campaign I have written for my group but, I can't get the character sheet on D&D beyond to let me take it. Is this a feature request or is it something simple I've overlooked?
@Farling, Yes - the level is the characters first step into a cleric multiclass but when selecting a domain the "Death Domain" is absent. I see it's included in the Dungeon Master's guide which is shared with me through the campaign the character is involved with... but I'm not able to actually leverage the sourcebook in the character editor from DDB.

Much thanks and roll on my friends,

Are you already a cleric? You can't take multiclass in Cleric if you're already a Cleric.
Do you have the right ability scores to be able to multiclass into a Cleric?
How is dndbeyond preventing you from choosing a level in Cleric?
