Maybe just re-skin the tarrasque. It’s nigh on indestructible, has a swallow attack as part of its kit and does extra damage to objects and structures. Seems close to devouring worlds.
Galactus is kind of outside of the scale of D&D (well, other than maybe Allabar, Opener of Ways, from 4th edition), though you can do things like
Power Cosmic: Galactus can cast Wish at will. If used for a stressful effect (anything other than replicating a spell of 8th level or lower), Galactus loses 50 HP but suffers no other ill effects.
Don't know about the modern day comics, but old school Galactus was virtually indestructible, and able to ignore the damage from all but the most powerful beings or concerted attacks, so I'm thinking either the whole range of damage invulnerabilities or a legendary action that allows him to just ignore damage. He is also physically strong enough to knock most heroes down with a mild swat of a hand or finger. Not sure how to scale that for 5e stats. He was also capable of massive energy blasts, maybe some kind of eldritch blast/meteor swarm hybrid. In the stories I remember from the 80's, the Fantastic Four, X-Men and Avengers each failed to make a dent in him.
Galactus would usually build a big machine to help him eat a planet, but he didn't have to, so destroying it just slowed him down.
On the other hand, Galactus could be negotiated with (Silver Surfer and others offering to be a herald), threatened (Reed Richards with the Ultimate Nullifier) or Hornswaggled (Dr. Doom stealing his power in Secret Wars). I think that these avenues, rather than a massively OP stat block, would be the most interesting way to deal with a Galactus inspired BBEG.

My level 20 party members have reached the end of an 1 1/2 year campaign. I’ve tried to design a Lich galactus, but could use some advice.
If any of you know where I can find his stats for 5e, or have suggestions they would be appreciated.

Another good idea thanks!
