In the campaign I'm DMing, I recently ran an encounter where a PC stole an item from an NPC which started combat. The PC in question took his turn before the NPC and his guards, so he ran away and used his cube of force, pressing the 3rd face, stopping any living matter from passing through the barrier. Once he did that, no guards could touch him, and he just calmly walked away. Is the cube just that powerful, or am I doing something wrong?
Also, we ran out of time and had to end early, so they are still in the combat. Any tips for how the guards can stop the PC if they can't touch him?
