I'm getting ready to run the Forge of Fury as part of my larger campaign and have a question. As the party leaves the mountain trail behind and enters the first map of Khundrukar, there's a path that leads off to the right, ending in a circular room. There's no indication in the Legend what this room is or what it's used for. Does anyone know why it's there? Is it a tower or just filler?
Yeah, that's just the starting point. In addition to the text that Veth13 referenced, the same circle is used on other maps to represent similar map transitions.
So then what is the path in the upper left-hand corner of the map? Is that the mountain trail? When they come up the mountain, do they wind up in that circular room? I’m just a little confused as to where the party starts once they take them out and chill up towards the main entrance.
The thing on the upper left is presumably not a trail, and rather just a poorly represented cliff face. If it were meant as a walkable surface, it would have been given grid lines.

Hi all,
I'm getting ready to run the Forge of Fury as part of my larger campaign and have a question. As the party leaves the mountain trail behind and enters the first map of Khundrukar, there's a path that leads off to the right, ending in a circular room. There's no indication in the Legend what this room is or what it's used for. Does anyone know why it's there? Is it a tower or just filler?
Thanks!
Looking at the map, I thing that it is the starting point, in the block text it says one last switch back, so it looks like the start to me.
