Veteran DM from 2nd Ed recently moved to 5th Ed. Cantrips. If a caster can use cantrips at all times, or as many times as required each day, can they cast a cantrip as a bonus action if the cantrip takes an action to cast?
No. Each cantrip states what action type they use to cast (1 action or 1 bonus action).
