In my campaign I am adding a side storyline to the main campaign to give one of my players a spotlight moment. This will be a bit of a slowburn over a few sessions, but effectively he revived a fellow player using revivify, and I want him to be hunted by a Fade or Ringwraith style creature. The idea behind the creature is that a soul was taken away from the lord of death unnaturally, and this is an agent of that lord looking to stop mortals from stealing death. Think of a Fade from the wheel of time series, or Ringwraith from lord of the rings. If this player gets stabbed by a knife this creature wields, he will start having visions in his dreams of the 'fade' hunting and tracking him as they travel. I want this creature to be deadly against the party, where they can only just do enough to drive it away, and then in a future session they will see they are being hunted by 4 of them on horse back (creating an "oh crap, we can't take them all on" moment). I have no idea where this subplot will go yet, I will probably wait and see what ideas the players come up with and wing it from there! This is purely to give the Druid in my party a story that he is the centre of, as the other 3 party members have all had something they call their part, he is a bit of a passive player.
My question here, I've been looking through the books, I have the monster manual, volo's guide and mordenkainens tome, is there a suitable creature that can be used for this situation? I didn't really want them to be spellcasters for attacks, but maybe some buff spells or something wouldn't be a problem. A wraith is the best I could find so far, but I'd need to seriously buff their attack and HP. The party of 4 have just levelled to 6, containing a ranger, fighter tank, shepherd druid, and warlock.

I think I may have just answered my own question by finding the Sword Wraith in mordenkainens tome
