Synopsis: I'm looking at give the Dragon Cult Airship from Storm King's Thunder a ship-stat-block similar to those seen in Ghosts of Saltmarsh.
Context: In my first campaign, I introduced the Dragon Cult Airship from Storm King's Thunderto allow my players a form of transport that would help them speed up their overland travel as the story slowly increased in urgency / level / magic. At the end of the campaign, they kept the airship for their group/guild.
Now, in a second campaign - a sequel to the first - the party live/travel aboard a sailing ship, with stats (and upgrades) as per Ghosts of Saltmarsh. However, they have recently decided they are going to use the airship - that they still have access to - to go on a short scouting mission, rather than put the ship at risk.
Challenge: Since they are now ranging levels 13-14 and are used to operating on a ship with a stat block, I have been building a suitable stat block for the SKT airship. Most of the details are present in the original source material - AC and Hit Points for components, etc. However, the vessel's stats aren't stated. A sailing ship has STR 20, DEX 7 and CON 17. I don't know what I should give to the airship. Any suggestions? Would you base it on a boat of the same size? The airship is a Gargantuan vehicle, 65 ft. by 50 ft.
