I'm not 100%, but I don't think there is a way to differentiate between schools of magic on a magic item. The best place for this question might be over in the homebrew forum, if you haven't tried there yet. Maybe throw this question up over there.

Hey all, I've been trying to make some homebrew items and I have a question, which others may have stumbled across before.
I am trying to make +1 wand, that only adds the bonus to a specific type of spell eg. necromancy
Is it possible to add this restriction into the build or is it something i can have in the notes but wont be reflected upon a players character sheet
