Hi all, a question on concentration. If a player casts Banishment on a creature and then starts concentrating on it. If that player gets banishments curse on himself would that break the concentration on the original banish. For clarification , Player A casts Banishment on creature A, creature A fails the saving throw. Player A is concentrating on banishment. Creature B casts Banishment on player A, player A fails saving throw and is banished. Does creature A return as player A is now not on the plain they cast the spell on?
It actually varies. Not being on the same plane does not break concentration, but being incapacitated does. The banishment has a side effect of incapacitation if the target creature is native to the plane you're on, but not if the target creature is native to a different plane.

Thank you for the reply. Just looked in the PHB and it says there. Cheers.
