So, one of the best things about DnDBeyond and creating a campaign is the content sharing, we've got numerous source books.
So, I am wanting to create some characters for the campaign, but if I do it on my private account, I only have access to what I own and any free base content.
If I create an unassigned character within the campaign, I can access all the extra goodness from the source books, all my players can see the character, even if it's deactivated.
Now, I know all the last ditch options I have, such as exporting the sheet or advising the players to not peak, but I was hoping that perhaps there was a way I can just create the character with the content we all shared and then hide it from view.
Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to keep it on the site for ease of editing later down the line should the NPC become a recurring character.

Thanks!
Create the character in the campaign, but set the character to PRIVATE (on the HOME page when editing the character).
The name is still visible, I think, but most of the details should be hidden.
You can create a character and then migrate it to a different campaign, which will remove it from the original one.
Thanks so much for the help guys, will try those now!
How does one move a character from one campaign to another? I've tried deactivating it and removing it, but no options are presenting itself.
Private is frankly less private than what you know about many public figures in real life -- can still see level, race, class...
