I currently have multiple campaigns running and so generally run each for a few months at a time and then rotate so I have fresh ideas without getting burnt out. My one campaign was Rime of the Frostmaiden and the players emerged victorious at level 9. I have two ideas but could really use the brain trust to help flesh them out.
Idea #1: The party Sorlock lost an eye in Ythryn and I was considering a quest given by his patron to find the eye or do something for the patron to be put in touch with a healer who could cast Regenerate and restore the eye.
Idea @2: The party found a map to the Temple of Astra, which I see as a lost temple buried somewhere in the desert sands of the Calim Desert and guarded by a Adult Blue Dragon. The end result would be a new eye, whether via Regenerate or patron intervention.
Really appreciate any thoughts anyone has on fleshing one, or both, of these ideas out.

"...or you can find the secret tunnel that leads to the Vault of Dickish DM which is filled with 10,000,000 copper coins and a 5,000 pound solid gold statue of a middle finger that is too big to fit through the door."
Another option is that there is a common magic item called an Ersatz Eye. You could have the party encounter what appears to be an Ersatz Eye in a shop somewhere, and the owner is eager to sell, because it's not an item that's particularly easy to find a buyer for. And when the party member puts it in and attunes, he realizes that's not what it is, and it actually has a much more significant enchantment on it (possibly bestowing some secret knowledge that triggers its own adventure). You could justify the shopkeeper not knowing this because he thought it was so obvious what it was that he didn't even cast Identify on it.
Maybe the map to the Temple of Astra has additional information on it that can be seen with the artificial eye, allowing the party to find a secret back entrance to the temple, or find a secret room.
If what the artificial eye does is cool enough, the character might not want to find a regenerate spell any more.

Bump for great justice. Still looking for ideas from the Brain Trust (TM) please and thank you! :)

Excellent. Thank you!
