My PC's are planning to ask Madam Eva to read Ireena's fate first. My plan is to say that Eva shrieks and says, "No. She is one who shares her soul with Strahd now. He would know that she is here, and I must not interfere with the Lord's wishes!" etc etc
Anybody else give me some alternative ideas? Don't want to hang myself by getting too intricate and then having it ruin stuff later.
Sure have her fate read, but simply look at her "lore" and make it as illegible as possible. Eva would know about the whole soul reborn thing, but she doesn't HAVE the answer to who Ireena is, but I beleive she can suspect from the rumors out of Barovia Village. So make a 2-3 card reading where you vaguely hit on Barovia Lore and Ireena lore, but make it just as obfuscated as the reading for where to find things.

Thank you. Good alternative.
