Newish player. Our DM has been amazing however real life work is eating their extra time. Our little group (all family) is four new players and one experienced one. We are one or two sessions from ending the Dragon of Icespire Peak campaign. (My wife and I started playing to connect with my youngest son. This is a win.)
I am looking to keep this game or something like it going. Is there a follow on that already has the VTT function and maps? Is there a follow up idea one of you could offer that would have the data and VTT functionality? Is there a way for us to see what D&D Beyond prewritten content/adventures is already available in/on VTT?
If there is a question like this, that is already answered, could someone link it? I will gladly read and learn rather than make anyone rehash old data on an asked and answered question.
Edit: We bought Keys to the Golden Vault as a gap stop, it has VTT compatibility. :)
The Essentials Kit which contains The Dragon of Ice Spire peak also includes three follow on adventures. If you purchased the Essentials Kit which included DoIP on Roll20, you also receive the three extra bonus adventures (at least I did).
They are called
"Storm Lord's Wrath" - start at level 7, finish at level 9
"Sleeping Dragons Wake" - start at level 9, finish at level 11
"Divine Contention" - start at level 11, finish at level 13
They are all written in the same style as DoIP, with discrete missions using Leilon on the coast as the center of operations instead of Phandalin. (Leilon is close to Phandalin).
These can also be purchased on D&D Beyond separately from the DoIP adventure.
We are using Above VTT at the moment. Last night after this post was made I realized my haste. I did know that SLW, SDW, and DC were follow on but completely spaced it. What I was meaning to ask was if they were usable on Above VTT in addition. I think we DO have the follow on adventures too.
Overall I guess I am nervous I was asking a question that had been rehashed several times that I couldn't find.
Do you have thoughts or comments on Above VTT versus Roll20?
Edit: Our DM bought several pieces in D&DBeyond and is able to share when we are in a campaign together. I hope that this applies with the follow on materials. If not none of them are expensive and we are grateful for that!!

P.S. Which VTT are you using?
