This Summer, I'm creating a campaign for a group of friends who are new to D&D. This is the first campaign they'll be playing, after months of me trying to get them into D&D. One friend, in particular, was hoping to play a character with a Stand. I'm the DM and I want to let him know if he can actually do this. I'm sure it's possible but I can't exactly think of a way to do it. It's not a JOJO-themed campaign, as everyone else is playing typical run-of-the-mill characters. This friend just wants to have a stand.
Any suggestions on how to go about this? (I was thinking of having everyone start at level 1, but I might change the campaign up a little to facilitate the use of a stand if I have to)
edit : I feel it necessary to mention that the stand in this case is Dio's Stand from Part 3 "the world" and its an ability stops time for a certain period.
the ability to stop time is a very powerful thing (time stop is a 9th level spell).
Your best bet would be reflavourign the Halfling Luck feature as a momentary pause in time. Combine with Divination Wizard for more timey-wimey stuff. Alternatively, look into Chronurgy, which I think is a critical role thing, which is all about time magic.
