"Things?" Like maps? Monster illustrations? Character portraits? Vistas? D&D artists aren't often a one stop shop.
The Arts and Crafts subforum here is frequented by artists who will work for commission, some for trade, and maybe even a few who'll do it for love of the hobby, probably worth checking out and maybe reposting specifying what sort of art you're looking to have done.
I just take pictures off the internet. You can find most of what you need by searching.

I am a 40 something year old physician who DMs for a group of 40 something year old doctors. We play a hybrid game, mostly based on 2nd edition rules with some homebrew and 5E components.
For characters & creatures, you ought to just go through browser images, or use one of those AI generators. It'll cover most of your desires.. But if you need something super specific.. you are gonna being paying money to said artists

Enjoy your slop. I'll be enjoying good products elsewhere.
For super detailed and personally customizable maps I’d recommend picking up Dungeon draft ($20 or $30 USD I think), and subscribing to the Patreon for Forgotten Adventures (I go with the 10$ option but to start you’d probably be best off with $5). Forgotten Adventures also includes top down tokens for monsters, and they’ve got A LOT. I recommend Inkarnate for City and Regional Maps (it can also be used for Interiors, I just personally like Dungeon draft more). Inkarnate is $25 USD per year, or $5 per month.
Trust me when I say you will be really pleased with these options and the results you make of them.
Edit: Also, Dungeon scrawl is awesome but just keep in mind it’s basically a black and white sketch, so not exactly gorgeous illustrations.
Like the cosmic hand said, use images from D&D Beyond for monsters, capturing them in the circle of a token tool (I have an option that basically duplicates what you get from Roll20 (not stealing or such, it just lets you make nearly identical tokens)). Full agreement that getting PC Portraits will be harder but a bit of Internet trawling should find you something good.
i need an artist to draw maps, characters, and monsters
