Looking for help in knitting 2 quests into an almost seamless single quest...
Currently running "Sleeping Dragon's Wake" and my party have done some side questing and have leveled up a little ahead of schedule...
So I was thinking of trying to run "Bronze Shrine" & "Death Knight-Dreadnaught as a single quest...But I fear it will feel clumsy and too railroady...
I am currently thinking that the party is set the Bronze Shrine quest, but on their journey, they are made aware of the beached Dreadnaught...One of my PC's has a personal background/friendship with Tarban Tul(he wrote a song about this PC's slaying of Cryovain)...But how do I make them aware of the breached ship, without making them travel along the coast?
My first thought is saying they have to catch the dreadnought to the bronze shrine. Essentially they'd be given a quest to go to the shrine and told a legend of a magic ship which is the only way that can get there. Then the party needs to rescue the bard and either get his help to appease the ship for the journey or convince the ship some other way. They'd arrive at the shrine by sea at the Jetty.
