Hello DM's, I would like to use DndBeyond for running my next campaign. I have most of the standard books in hardback and have multiple copies of some so I don't want to get all of them on DndBeyond. I was just wondering what books you suggest I get on DndBeyond so that the players can create characters and have a good amount of character options?
Since you plan to use DDB, I will assume that you are not using many homebrew rules changes and such, and taking things straight and using the homebrew stuff here (and adding your own, hopefully).
For a pick up campaign and some playtesting, we found that the most useful things to pick up were any of the "expansion" products that we actually used, in terms of races, classes, and spells.
And most of that was because it made it easier for the players to create their characters -- because if you don't buy it here, then you can't use it in the system. For example, I don't have any of the new Giant sub-classes or feats. If someone wanted to use those, tough luck -- I won't be buying it.
For me, though, that meant PHB, DMG, Tasha's, Xanathar's, Sword Coast Adventurer's, Character options for Curse of Strahd, Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron,. I was gifted the funds for the Elemental Evil Player's Companion, as well. I bought others, but, um, I don't think they can be bought anymore, lol.
That gives me a LOT of the essential stuff.
All of that said, my caveat: I don't use DDB for that, I use it as a reference source for in game play (spells, monsters). I can't use DDB for my regular games because we have way too many house rules that conflict, lol.

As you have most of the books already I would recommend just getting the compendium versions of the books and save some money. I would recommend PHB, Tasha's, Xanathar's, if you are going to use the encounter builder too then the Monster Manual would be a good choice too.
I think I just went with the player package and Mordenkainen's. I only use DDB for the games I play.
If I used it more for DM, Monster Manual and Volo's would be the other two I would get, maybe Fizban for dragon content. :S
There's no reason to buy the DMG or buy the adventures if you aren't going to run them. PHB covers 90% of the actual rules and spells. Mordenkainen lets me get most playable races, tasha's and xanathars are part of the player bundle.
Monsters are about the only ting missing and 90% are either in the basic rules (free) or the monster manual. You'll pick up a bunch of monsters from getting the two main rules/player supplements. Volo's then is the only real source of monsters in bulk after that.
