So here's the deal, I am running a game with three, sometimes four friends. There is a dragon born paladin, a halfling bard, a gnome sorcerer, and a dragon born barbarian who sometimes comes along, sometimes does his own thing. I introduced a pixie to the group and had her become interested in the gnome sorcerer because his bloodline is the Storm. The main point of this connection was that since the pixie is fey, and a storm is sort of like wild nature, she felt a strange kinship with him. Now, this pixie is rather mischievous and loves to play pranks, so she started playing some on the party members, particularly, on the sorcerer. He, however, did not find the pranks amusing(the character didn't, the player is cool with it). The sorcerer, while normally a happy, fun loving, completely unserious person, became increasing annoyed with and angry at the pixie, talking to the other party members about how they should kill him to free him from the pixie. So now all the players(and yes, myself as well) are laughing and having a grand old time, and it ends up being brought up that Schmebulock(yes, that's the character's name) is going to end up super attached to the pixie. I, as the DM, decided it was my solemn duty to ensure this happened. And that is why I started this thread, so I could ask for suggestions on how to facilitate that goal.
Have the pixie notice how unhappy the character is at times and do something nice for the character to try to cheer him up. Also, whenever he gets all stormy, have her make eyes at him after.

Thanks. I'm gonna see what I can cook up, but I hadn't considered what she would do when he uses storm powers. I'll need to use that. This is, of course, a long term project.

How did it go? Did you get the gnome attached to the pixie? You can't bring up this great story and not update it.
