Example of a quick turnaround... And how it can make the story better... My players were trapped in a dungeon by a wizard who was testing them and using them to teach his apprentice, but ultimately he was not hostile. When it came to the end, one of his tricks goes wrong and the players realize that he isn't trying to kill them, and they have to save him from a Green Dragon... Well, that's not what they did... The ranger negotiated with an owlbear, now it's an NPC. The rogue changed classes last week to bard, and the first thing she did was seduce the dragon, (FIRST THING!), then when the wizard attacked the dragon, they defended the dragon... So, now the campaign is not this guy leading them around the multiverse, it's them hunting him... With a goblin they saved from being eaten alive, an owlbear who is looking for her babies, and a dragon who has a RAGING thing for the bard... Not how that was supposed to go, but, man is it going to be fun...
My first encounter was with a human rouge and a halfling wizzard defending an inn from a rat attack the rouge upon finding a halfling commoner hiding kills him for no reason
So, I’m glad you guys are having a laugh running a silly game, but I want you to remember that you are well within your power to reel it in. Don’t be afraid to do so. Next time, have the owlbear simply eat them. Have the Dragon blow fire on them.
You know, the thing that probably should have happened.

You do you :) ... if you and the players are having a great time then go for it ... :)

However, just FYI, a bard seducing a green dragon? Not going to happen. What would a green dragon find attractive in a bard of ANY species except maybe another green dragon?
"The most cunning and treacherous of true dragons, green dragons use misdirection and trickery to get the upper hand against their enemies."
"Green dragons are consummate liars and masters of double talk. They favor intimidation of lesser creatures, but employ more subtle manipulations when dealing with other dragons. A green dragon attacks animals and monsters with no provocation, especially when dealing with potential threats to its territory. When dealing with sentient creatures, a green dragon demonstrates a lust for power that rivals its draconic desire for treasure, and it is always on the lookout for creatures that can help it further its ambitions."
So ... in my game ... if something like this had happened. The Green Dragon would be completely lying about being seduced. They are masters of lying and misdirection. Since they didn't want to deal with the threat of the party in the first place, when an opportunity presents itself where one of the stupid humanoids makes some sort of overture, the Green Dragon plays along to get the party to kill the wizard for him. The green dragon will choose an appropriate moment to eat one of the characters to make their point about who is really in charge. :) ... or perhaps they will manipulate the party into doing some other things that will gain the dragon even more power ... perhaps the wizard has an artifact that the dragon really wants and using the party is the easiest way to get it :) Lots of options ... but actual seduction by the bard ... not going to happen :)
I usually wouldn't allow seducing a dragon because I dont even know if dragons have a concept of seduction or even reproduce naturally in every setting and the last thing I want to do is to have to roll for love damage. That said I'm glad you're having fun with it and there's allot you can do. The dragon sounds kind of easy so their various lovers across the dimensions could come up. Maybe the wizard tamed the dragon a similar way in the past and maybe they run into an ex who doesn't recognize them due to shape shifting or a one sided relationship
