a ran two campaign using Eventyr Games campaigns guide example just want to know if there other guide like this to help run campaigns that make it more straight forward
That is a loaded and broad ranging question running a campaign may be something as simple as cracking open something pre-generated for you or it can be as complex as building your own world from the ground up in which case there really is no simple guide. I am curious as to the term straight forward is there something about being the DM that is not straight forward?
I dont think you understands my questions well for most modules there is information's and a lot of fat for lore building these guide cut a lot of that out so its easier to understand to know how to progress the story points.you go back to the book to build the word but its easier to cut thing u don't need to researcher it makes prepwork a lot easier
Its really simple you read the module what you don't like you don't use. But reading the module is a basic requirement of dungeon mastering if you are using published material something in one part of the module may explain why something is happening later in the module.
