I've started re-playing D&D with a small group mainly running one shot adventures (I'm a player not a DM) but as we're progressing I want to do a campaign. I haven't DMd for 20 years so wanted to see if I could get a little help for my first session.
I'm looking for anyone here who can share with me a small campaign they may have ran in the past, I can use this as a base for my table then add my own twist. Ideally to 5-6 players of lvl 7-10, and something with cults and demons would be perfect.
Anything you have would be a help, encounters, maps, monsters, even a whole campaign if you are willing to share..
Well, frankly, I would say check out the PDF of "The Lost Mine of Phandelver" here on dndbeyond. It's meant to be a starter adventure for good reason, it will give you a good idea of flow and construction, as well as introducing a setting that you will be able to reuse. Cheers.
if you like city settings, then Waterdeep Dragonheist is fun, Lv1-5. party get involved with a plot to steal a fortune of embezzled gold hidden in the city with multiple factions all wanting the gold for themselves
I sometimes draw inspiration from movies that move me. For instance, my current campaign is based on Red Dawn (the Patrick Swayze version) where the event that brought the characters in the party together was an invasion by a foreign attacker. Now they're banded together and waging guerilla warfare against the aggressors...aside from the occasional side-quest.
Full disclosure though, my entire campaign is homebrew 101 using the core 5e rules, which I recently had to learn as I haven't played or DM'd since AD&D 2E, but it's been fun just getting to use my imagination again.

Hi all..

Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, that's a good one too. This might just turn into a list of our favorite starter adventures.
