Hello all!
Just wondering if the Maps section has improved since it first came out? It pretty much only had Fog of War when it first rolled out iirc. Does it have a ruler/measurement system now at least? Has it improved at all. I am contemplating running a campaign through DnD beyond for a group that are faithful to Roll20, wondering if I should just spend the coin to run it there instead? Really chagrin to do that already having bought the digital physical bundle here.

It's got some features beyond just fog:

• Spectator mode, so if you're in-person, you can throw it up on a TV.
• There's a measuring capability using a ruler to measure distance, that everyone can use on their view, based on the 5ft grid square you set against the map when you add it. I don't think it displays on other people's views though.
• A ping capability, or a laser pointer style mouse cursor.
• A simple drawing capability (Think MS Paint with color and pen size).

And the game log is displayable on the screen.  It's still relatively simple, but usable.

Brilliant. Thank you! Those were pretty much the things I was hoping for anyway. We will be in person, so this works out well. 

I'm using it in person, by having two web pages on my laptop, and Chromecasting the Spectator version to the TV.
