My places are inkarnate and pintrest. Just looking up a general map concept and scrolling through can generally give you some good options, and as long as you aren't married to any specific ideas, it works pretty well. I know there are also people who sell maps, but I've always been too broke to consider it.
I make all my own maps, they aren't fantastic, but I do them in Inkarnate which is like £25 a year and I can make exactly what I need. As a bonus, Inkarnate has an 'explore' section where other creators post their creations that you can download or even clone and edit to serve your purposes.
Look to Talespire and also Dungeon Alchemist, Cheap options (Around$25/US) that are capable of producing high quality maps. There is a learning curve and some take some time, but as mentioned above there are sites where you can download premade boards, maps, etc. Tales Tavern, Tales Bazaar are god sources for Talespire, and for dungeon alchemist you can do a search within the app. If you need help if you purchase them, let me know, but there are a ton of vids and help available through youtube and twitch. I also use inkarnate.
Dungeon Alchemist is fantastic! It is an AI-powered map-maker that creates 3D renderings, so you can actually pan out and around the map for a 3D view if you are using a virtual tabletop.
