I am planning way in advance to run Curse of Strahd followed by Vecna: Eve of Ruin. Do you think it’s possible to adapt Vecna: Nest of the Eldritch Eye to Ravenloft, specifically in Strahd’s domain (I haven't found info of Vecnas domain Cavitus in 5e)? My first problem is that Vecna: Nest of the Eldritch Eye happens in a large city and Barovia, if I recall correctly, doesn’t have a city only villages. Second problem is that how I can incorporate this adventure within Curse of Strahd? Maybe the Vistani informed him of the infiltration in Barovia of cultists of the only Dark Lord who has escaped his Domain and Strahd wants to know how to escape his domain?
I mean, technically there cannot be more than one lord in a domain. But ... if the dark powers will it so, anything is possible.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
Well I was thinking of more of the Vecna’s cultists took refuge in Barovia after Vecna broke free from his domain and out of fear from Iuz and his surviving army.
They just arrived and are not aware of who’s is the Domain Lord in this land. They continue with business as usual hoping that their prayers and dark rituals will enhance their master Vecna (they are waiting for a signal that will tell them that their prayers are being heard).
Strahd learned of these cultists and want them alive to extract the information on how to escape from a Domain, which unbeknownst to him they don’t know.
He or one his lackeys will disguise and will ask the party to capture ALIVE all the cultists. This a twofold goal setup. First to test the party’s strength and weakness. And the second goal is to capture the cultists alive.
Hm, right. I'd assume Vecna's cultists would be drawn to his own realm - he has one, right? - but anyways, the dark powers have more crazy schemes than you can shake a stick at, so why not =)
