Hello, I've just started working on a campaign using the D&D beyond campaign creator as a digital way to keep the information I would normally spend forever writing in my notebooks and then losing said notebooks before ever reaching a session. I was wondering on how to avoid oversharing events before they happened in the public notes, as the campaign I'm currently working on is very railroaded in the beginning in order to achieve the actual setting for the campaign and adventure. I want the players to still retain the illusion of choice, without feeling like they're being forced into a situation (they 100% are though) by not giving them access to meta game early on and basically avoid the entire initiation of the campaign.
I wasn't sure if using the spoiler tool would mitigate this, or if I needed to splice the reaction needed to get the result I want for every possible action they could take in the private notes. If someone with more experience could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. I'd very much like to make this a public campaign for multiple people to use, and don't want any potential DM's to suffer because of my lack of knowledge.
