So, I'm going to have the players pick the Tarokka reading for the campaign...... sorta. I will take each of them into a separate room and deal 4 cards and ask them to pick 2. Of those two, I will read to them what Madame Eva will say if she "draws" that card. Then, they choose which of the 4 cards she will draw. Repeat for everyone. For the High Deck cards, I'll draw 8 cards for Strahd's enemy and deal a few extra, then use those same 8 cards (7, really) for Strahd's location. Here's what I've got so far:
- Tome of Strahd - Master of Coins (Blue Water Inn), 4 of Stars (beacon of Argynvostholt), 2 of Coins (nursery at the Abbey), 9 of Glyphs (Wachterhaus) - Holy Symbol - 3 of Stars (grave in the ruined swamp town), 5 of Glyphs (Gulthias tree), 5 of Swords (werewolf den), 6 of Coins (Kasimir) - Sunblade - 7 of Swords (statue of Vecna in the Amber Temple), Master of Stars (Van Richten's Tower), 3 of Glyphs (pool in Krezk), 1 of Swords (Vladimir Horngaard) - High Deck - Van Richten, no enemy, Ismark, Arrigal, the Broken One (I've decided that the Mad Mage is actually Victor Vallakovich from the future, because Mordenkainen ain't losing to Strahd), Victor Vallakovich (the child version in Vallaki), Zuleika the werewolf, and Godfrey the revenant
Depending on what they choose for the first two cards, I might switch the options up for the next ones. If they choose to put the Tome in Argynvostholt, I'll switch out the 1 of Swords with something else, if they give Kasimir the Holy Symbol, I'll replace the 7 of Swords with the 9 of Stars.

Also, they won't be told what the locations are, just given the flavor text, and I will ask them not to discuss it with each other.
