I have two players who decided it was a good idea to attack Strahds right hand man right in front of him while in the tome of strahd. This happened in the war tent in the battle for Argonsvohlt. The tome says that any fallen characters must be carried through the chapter or be lost to the pages of time. Looking for advice on how to proceed through this chapter of the tome. I don't go out of my way to kill of PC's but this is one of those moments that bad decisions were made and there are ramifications for these decisions. Any and all advice welcome.

I recently ran Curse of Strahd and don't remember anything about being *in* the Tome. Is this home brew? Sounds interesting if it is. As for the dead players I'm afraid this will pretty much be a case of they f***ed around and they found out. If you've not already told them about the "lost to pages of time" bit you could possibly handwave it and just have them all arrive back in the real world alive but if you have told them looks like they died for good
I got it off DMsguild. Its called the interactive Tome of Strahd. I found maps to go with it on patreon from DMAndy. He has remade all the maps for CoS and they are amazing plus he did maps to go with the tome of strahd. Also picked up some guides from lunch break heros that really helped me make the game more immersive for my players.

I used Lunch Break Heroes as well when I ran the campign, fantastic advice that I agree made it all so much more immersive. Hadn't heard of Tome of Strahd, might have to grab it if I run the campaign again as it sounds interesting
