I want to prep a bit for when my PCs eventually arrive for his invitation (still months away), but my Strahd is a bit different than the one in the book. He's very self-pitying, he does think he's lost to evil but blames his parents for it (Barov was very cruel and Ravenovia was very afraid of her husband, thus very distant). He thinks he was never loved, and at one point he cared, but now he just doesn't. He knows something imprisoned him here along with all the innocents who did nothing to deserve it, so he tortures them as a sort of pitiful revenge, for he has absolutely nothing else to do with his immortality. He does cultivate a few other hobbies besides cruelty, mainly magic and music. He's completely mastered the pipe organ, violin, cello and many other instruments from our Classical and Baroque periods.
TLDR: My Strahd thinks he's a victim and in turn victimizes others. He believes his fate is tragic. He's a master of the pipe organ, violin, cello and many other instruments.
What do you think I should have him already be (as in, any part of a piece) playing by the time the PCs arrive for his dinner invitation?
I don't want anything that is easily recognizable to not break my players' attention, so I've been listening to Prélude en C#m, op. 3, nº2 by Serguei Rachmaninof, but there can absolutely be something I don't know that's more appropriate.
Thanks!
P.S: I am aware there are likely more threads like this in this forum, but there's no search function that I've noticed.
I'd suggest Schubert's Erlkonig for violin. It's ridiculously technically challenging, so fits a guy who's been practicing for centuries and maybe wants to show off a little, and the Goethe poem it's intended to accompany is very... Barovia
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)

Oh! It doesn't have to be an organ piece, that's why I specified he's mastered several instruments. I'm gonna take a listen to that, but any other suggestion is welcomed!

It might fall under too recognizable, but Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor is a classic of the genre.

If you specifically want an organ piece, maybe Messiaen's Apparition of the Eternal Church

Yeah, it's a bit too recognizable, but still thanks!
