I just watched this YouTube short about dragon's basically treating the local adventurers like pests that you would put under a cup and toss out of your house. One of the comments said that in their campaign one of the local dragons keeps hiring them to get rid of pests and calls them the pest busters. I want to know if anyone else has any interesting things to do with dragons.
Really the only interesting thing I did with dragons, is I made a set of minor-dragons which instead of lusting over gold, lust over different types of terrain, so there was a River dragon that demanded payment to cross any bridges over its river and would attack anyone who fished or polluted it. A forest dragon that tended a beautiful woodland and would require visitors to plant trees and clean up brush in exchange for passage. An ocean dragon that would pull ships through its territory in exchange for pearl-oysters to add to its coastline. A meadow dragon which kept all the grazing animals in neat little herds and would reward those who helped it with wonderful mounts. A swamp dragon who would get angry with people swatting its beautiful mosquitos etc...
In this other dungeon set in Eberron as well the villains want instead to actually become dragons... and will do a lot of wicked acts in order to suceed:

In this bestselling 5E Cthulhu mythos adventure I used a dragon as a smokescreen for the real monster:

In this bestselling Ravenloft dungeon I used a dragon as the villain behind the plot:
Van Richten's Dungeons: Issue 1, Darkon - Dungeon Masters Guild | Dungeon Masters Guild
The same for this dungeon set in Eberron:
EBERRON: Forbidden Prophecy - Dungeon Masters Guild | Dungeon Masters Guild
In this other dungeon set in Eberron as well the villains want instead to actually become dragons... and will do a lot of wicked acts in order to suceed:
Red Talon's Lair - Dungeon Masters Guild | Dungeon Masters Guild
