So my group have been asking for a Christmas themed quest, handily they are in a walled city run by sages that guard powerful magic items (think cliche crazy druid characters). They will find a snowglobe and be sucked into it.
Obviously the big bad for this 2 session quest will be Santa Claws (monster stat block yet unknown). I also have ideas for;
Presents - using the mimic Animated Christmas trees - Using awakened tree or twig/tree blights I didn't ask how big the room was, I said I cast snowball! Carollers - These are bards that sing carols for their song of rest, and tell bad cracker jokes for their vicious mockery Sword wielding enemies will swing candy canes
For inspiration, I have previously done a cheese themed quest where Cammenbard (a Bard who can animate cheese) controls a Brieholder, Emmental that has an attack of Fondue Fist, Briests that heal him, and of course he has a base in his Roque Fort.
I'm looking for any dad joke groan inducing puns that replace attacks, abilities and NPC names, that I can simply drop in 5e 2024 monster stat blocks for. Or other christmas related ideas to wrap into it, my players initially moan at the puns, but after an hour they start creating their own!
Last year I played a Christmas themed one-shot that lasted about 2 hours. We had Christmas themed puzzles, where we had to light candles at specific places to open a door to a dungeon, decorate a tree, and so on. It was quite fun and I would put more effort into Christmas themed puzzles than Christmas monsters. Your present-mimic and Christmas tree blight are already fun monsters. I'm assuming this will be a quest for one session?
The plot for our one-shot was that we were helping an elf called Gingerbread save Santa Claus from the final boss Nuuttipukki (the "original" Finnish Santa Claus, who was actually very evil). Nuuttipukki was immune to all damage, but hated Christmas carols, especially Jingle Bells. The whole party needed to sing Jingle Bells in unison to make Nuuttipukki disappear and save Christmas.
Not a pun, but you could reflavor the Chain Devil as something close to marley's ghost from a christmas carol, just change the creature type to undead and you have yourself a christmas themed villain ready made

Having fun? I would hope so. Lets see how much fun you're having after the lich starts dipping into it's 1/day spell slots.
Now that I actually read the last line of the message as well I realize I didn't actually answer your initial question at all in my earlier message. But here's some I've thought of during the day anyway:
Santa's little helpers: Stealthy little sneaky sneaks observing who's naughty and who's nice
Christmas Pudding: A chocolate ooze
Swish you a merry Christmas: A cleaving axe attack
A monster/ability/puzzle inspired by The Twelve Days of Christmas. But don't make it too obvious immediately, slowly ease them into it.
The party is attacked by a flock of birds, definitely containing a partridge in a pear tree, two turtle doves, three french hens, four calling birds, six geese, and seven swans
They hear mysterious melodies from 11 pipers and 12 drummers
You get the gist...
Or roll a d12 on an illusion conjured by a monster

Shouldn't make too much of a difference as I can pick relevant enemies that fit, but it's for a group of 5 level 5 players

Some more ideas I came up with
"silent night" bomb- sleep inducing smoke bomb
A troll wielding literally just a fruitcake, feeding into the Stereotype of fruitcake being rock-hard
The holly-jolly headsman, who maybe utilizes Scruvy's "swish you a merry christmas" attack
any damaging fire spell could be renamed "chestnut roaster"
