I'm a dm and I'm looking to make a timeline of the full history of my world for fun :) But i'm finding it hard to find a free website/software to do it on, does anyone have any suggestions?
Every few months I see another Youtube advert for WorldAnvil and it sounds cool but then I go on there and try and figure out even the simplest thing and remember why I gave up the last time

Yeah. I had the year subscription, but I cancelled and moved to chronica ventures. Not as many bells and whistles, but you don’t need an hour long tutorial to post an article.

Excel or ms project.
I know you can do it on world anvil, but I don’t remember if you need to pay for that one. Some stuff there is free.
But, boy, does that site have a learning curve.
