So I've been Gm ing for my friends and one of them is really into painting figures (Warhammer 40k,Gundam ect.) and we've been watching critical role for a while and he is just in love with the stuff they in that show and trying to find the props they use for the combat but couldn't find anything near that so it would be helpfull it would be help full if any one know any thing about it
I assume that Crit Roll has a custom builder that makes a lot of their stuff from scratch. I know the Aqc Inc. celebrity PAX games have a person who does their props for the live shows and they are pretty damn amazing. There are bunches of tutorials online if your friend is interested in making custom set pieces for your game. Just know that it's often hour and hours of work for a thing you may only use once.

Players on CR have mentioned Dwarven Forge. But I'm sure there's a lot of custom stuff too. I know they use Hero Forge for some minis and have used painting services for getting them painted. (Liam mentioned it on the Night Before Critmas episode last week but I forget the name.)
