So I am running a campaign where one of our players (not in the group) is a member of the criminal organization that used to be running the kingdom.
He is trying to hold together his piece of the pie while the normal party (along with other agents of the kingdom) are trying to dismantle it completely.
So the adventurers are chipping away at him, which will be reported up the chain to him. I need ideas on what else might have gone wrong with his Month to possibly keep him distracted.
In short he has no idea which activities are from the adventuring party and may never run across them until much later, but he might stumble across them (thus the grand experiment)
So what else can I add to his list of troubles to put them possibly pull his attention?
