I am running a home brew campaign and the players are going into an electric elemental dungeon. I am looking for any ideas on good puzzles I can use that fit this theme. Thanks,
Throw some water in there. They enter a corridor that has electricity arcing across, in between each arc is a stream of water, when the arcs arent visible the electricity is running through the water. Make it a skill check so that they have to time it to jump through when the arcs dissapear but dont tell them they cant step in the water lol
I do have an electricity themed Trap you could include. It's from Grimtooth's Traps. Here is a link to the video: D&D Electricity Trap
Of course my YouTube channel is stock full of puzzles you could use, up to 50 of them! And I'm sure there are a handful that you can alter to include lightning or electricity theme.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

A good test for your players would be to throw in a room they have to cross with lightning shooting from wall to wall. There are also metal poles running from floor to ceiling that the lightning seems to sometimes be attracted to as well. Put some dead bodies in the room, metal armor, scattered around. Get the party all worked up about the room and the threat. Maybe blow some spells, strip off their metal armor, etc.
The trick is just to walk through the room without touching anything. The floor is ceramic tile, and if the players walk across the room without touching the poles or the walls, the lightning won't hit them, as they aren't grounded and don't complete a circuit like the walls and poles do. They'll feel a buzz, but that's it. :)
