So basically, I ran a campaign where the legendary heroes had to kill a demi-god that turned into a god in a parallel dimension to theirs. It was standard DND time period, then 2000 years later was when the sequel started.
The sequel is about the original world and descendants of the heroes having to stop another villain, in 2012, that ends up sending them 100 year to the future after she drinks from the fountain of youth. We're in the middle of that one.
Then there's a prequel to that one in the Wild West, with a more distant branch or their families.
The players want more continuations in this world and series, so I was thinking of more quirky time periods to base them around. Each one has differences from the typical DND things, like the 2012 one having modern weapons, phones, and such, then the western one will be gun focused with more horseback riding.
Any suggestions would be neat for time periods and how to make them special, maybe even some grand villain ideas. Kinda thinking of posting the campaigns somewhere to, but don't know which part of the forum to do that either.
1950's-era would be a great time for a political intrigue campaign, kind of the smiling proto-authoritarian state, conformity, paranoia, not knowing who might turn on you if they suspect that you're *other*. Might be fun in a fantasy setting.
Or you could go future/alt present like in a post cataclysmic or apocalyptic world where society is bent into some completely different shape, cities are underwater domes because the surface is uninhabitable, or something crazy like that.

Also known as CrafterB and DankMemer.
Here, have some homebrew classes! Subclasses to? Why not races. Feats, feats as well. I have a lot of magic items. Lastly I got monsters, fun, fun times.
If you're posting campaign transcripts or story/character arcs, then drop them in Story & Lore
If you're posting your world creations, then look towards Homebrew & House Rules
Steampunk/gearpunk setting? Futuristic setting? Maybe a sort of post apocalyptic dark age that takes place after the medieval magic time?
